Younes Kaboul led France Under-21s to victory over Wales in European Championship qualifying on Friday night.

Our summer capture from Auxerre - who scored last time out at Fulham - captained the French side as they overcame Wales by the only goal, an own goal from Neil Eardley.

Kieran McKenna played a full shift as Northern Ireland conceded late goals against Germany at Mourneview Park in Lurgan. Northern Ireland actually had the better chances before Germany won it with three goals in the final 13 minutes.

Neither Tom Huddlestone or Ben Alnwick featured in England's 3-0 win in Montenegro - City's Joe Hart got the nod in goal, so Ben was on the bench and Tom was suspended.

Tomas Pekhart is in the Czech U21 squad for the qualifier against Armenia on Saturday.
