The lads take on Liverpool with both teams still harbouring hopes of snatching the Barclays U21 Premier League title.
We go into Friday’s clash five points adrift of leaders Manchester United and just one behind third-placed Liverpool - victory could lift us up to second.
Ten players have made their debuts at Under-21 level this season with many performing admirably of late as the squad has lost a number of players out on loan - the likes of Dominic Ball, Nathan Oduwa, Emmanuel Sonupe, Shaq Coulthirst, Grant Ward and Bongani Khumalo.
“There is a lot of competition in the group, lots of younger players coming in and everyone is determined to do well between now and the end of the season,” said Josh, who made his first team debut against Burnley in the FA Cup in January.
“The younger lads have done well and when the chance comes, they want to show they can perform at this level.”
Tom Glover, Shayon Harrison and Ismail Azzaoui all made their U21 debuts in the corresponding fixture in October, an end-to-end encounter that the Reds edged 2-1 at Langtree Park, St Helens.
“Liverpool played well that night but we pushed them all the way,” added Josh. “They have some good players and it will be a test for us but we’re all looking forward to playing at White Hart Lane again. It’s always a special occasion for us.
“We played well against Chelsea last week (a 0-0 draw) and didn’t manage to get the three points so we’re looking to win this time around.”
