The striker’s 20-yard drive secured a point against Chile on Wednesday night and sparked a late flourish that might well have seen England clinch the three points.

Harry combined well with Spurs team-mate Alex Pritchard, who entered the fray for his first international appearance and helped the Young Lions hit top gear in the final half-hour.

The result made it two draws in two fixtures for England so far in Turkey.

Harry set-up both goals in the 2-2 draw against Iraq on Sunday and England now go into Saturday’s final group fixture against Egypt in Bursa knowing victory will see them progress to the knockout stages.

“It’s always good to get off the mark and it got us back into the game as well, that was the main thing,” Harry told us from England’s base in Turkey.

“I thought we were unfortunate not to go on and win it.

“As soon as we scored we pressed higher up the pitch, won the ball back in good areas and created chances.”

Iraq shocked England by coming back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 and did the same against Egypt on Wednesday, this time winning 2-1 after going behind to top the group.

“We know what we have to do against Egypt and we’ll try to get the win,” added Harry. “It’s been a great experience so far, playing different styles of teams and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.”
