U19s join goal spree

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Our Under-19s jumped on the goalscoring bandwagon that seems to be trundling past Spurs Lodge at present.
Their younger counterparts at Under-17 level have netted 11 goals in their last two games — including hitting QPR for six on Saturday — and Pat Holland’s side helped themselves to four to comprehensively beat Reading in the FA Premier Academy League.
We actually had to come from a goal behind but four goals in 40 minutes either side of the interval left us in command.
Yannick Kamanan (pictured) cancelled out Reading’s opener with a 25-yarder after 30 minutes and we then took over. Jon Jonsson converted Andrew Burke’s corner at the near post five minutes later and just after the hour Kamanan made Reading pay for a defensive mistake.
It took just five more minutes for Lee Barnard to cap a fine Under-19 debut with the fourth goal before Reading grabbed a consolation second goal.
Boss Pat said: “The first half was tough going but we deserved to win and it was nice for Lee Barnard to score after a promising debut for us.”
Spurs U19s: Attwell, Kelly, Burke, Bowditch, Quilter, Fortune, Consorti, Barnard, Kamanan, Jackson, Jonsson.
