Alex Inglethorpe admitted our Under-18s created enough chances 'to win three games' as they drew at Nottingham Forest.
However, they found themselves behind after just three minutes of Saturday's FA Premier Academy League encounter when they conceded from a set-piece.
As coach Alex explained, chances came and went until David Hutton (pictured) finally levelled with 20 minutes remaining.
Alex reported: "I thought we played really well and I was delighted with the performance.
"We created so many chances and whereas last week against City we played well without creating fantastic opportunities and took the few chances we had, this week from back to front we were excellent but just missed our usual cutting edge up front. We just weren't clinical enough.
"Forest went ahead early on and it was disappointing to concede from another set-piece as we did well on that last season.
"We went in at half-time 1-0 down after creating chances where we've missed the target or the keeper has made a save or got into good areas without that final ball.
"We equalised after 70 minutes. It was a move that started with Oscar Jansson in goal, nice play through the team that ended with Andros Townsend on the left squaring for David Hutton to tap in.
"We had chances after that to win the game but it wasn't to be."
