Our Under-18s have travelled to Mexico to compete in the famous Copa International Chivas Comex Cup.
It's the 16th year of the tournament that has this year attracted the likes of Brazilian giants Santos, hosts Chivas, the River Plates of Argentina and Uruguay and Real Madrid. This time around there are also four national teams represented in Brazil, Mexico, Paraguay and Japan.
The lads have the honour of kicking-off the tournament against Guadalajara in one of Mexico's top stadiums, the Estadio Jalisco in Guadalajara, on Saturday.
They also play Caracas (Venezuela), Catolica (Chile), Stabaek (Norway) and Cruz Azul (Mexico).
There are four groups and the top two from each group will then compete in the quarter-finals next weekend.
"It's a top tournament and we're really fortunate to get an invite," explained coach Alex Inglethorpe.
"It's a tough schedule against some fantastic teams and to cap it all, it's at altitude!
"This tournament is against the very, very best and to be in that type of environment, especially in the conditions in Mexico, will be a terrific test and another layer of the lads' development."
