The lads dominated but it remained goalless in the first half thanks to a combination of fine goalkeeping and wayward finishing.
However, they found their shooting boots in the second half as Hutton and Parrett struck.
Coach Alex Ingelthorpe talked us through the goals. “We opened the scoring on the hour and it stemmed from good work by Jon Obika.
“He’d tried to link up with Andros Townsend down the right, it broke down but Jon then showed the presence to chase down a lost cause, closed down the Millwall defender, blocked his clearance and the ball ran to David Hutton who controlled and finished from just inside the box.
“We didn’t have to wait long for the second goal. It was good play down the right from Jon Obika again, Daniel Hutchins, Dean Parrett and Jake Livermore were also involved and it ended with Dean producing a good finish.
“We were always in control and could have scored a lot more.”
