Spurs U17s 0-2 Aston Villa

Our U17s paid the price for missed chances as Luke Moore - half of the deadly brotherly act with Stefan, who has progressed to the Premiership - bagged a brace to win the game.

Gareth Jenkins was thwarted in a one-on-one opportunity, Owen Price flashed a shot across goal and Warren McKenna's volley and Andy Hodges' header failed to get us off the mark.

In-between, Moore struck twice, lethally, to grab the points for Villa.

Coach Jimmy Neighbour said: "We were unfortunate. I thought we played well - the best we've played for a long time.

"Villa are strong but I thought we handled them well and created four good chances ourselves.

"We just need to be a little more clinical but I was pleased. You can see the improvement. If we continue like that I'll be happy."

Spurs U17s: Eyre, Watson, Francis, Ifil, Dobson, Ahmed, Hicks, McKenna (Lee, 85), Jenkins, Price, Barcham (Hodges, 65). Unused subs: Forecast, Welch.
