Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Spurs U17s 1 Charlton 1

Our Under-17s are within striking distance of the quarter-final of the play-offs after Saturday's draw against Charlton.

If the lads can now beat Southampton this weekend they will only be able to be beaten on goal difference - they have to top the group to progress.

A point was no less than Jimmy Neightbour's side deserved against Charlton. They started superbly but both Ron Henry and Walter Thomas were denied by the woodwork before Charlton snatched the lead.

John Sutton levelled the score after 35 minutes, finishing well after David Galbraith's clever header, but despite hitting the woodwork again after the break a winning goal was not forthcoming.

Spurs U17s: Rutherford, Lee, Herron, Marney, Henry, Gardner, Hughes, Thomas (Wetner), Sutton, Barnard, Galbraith. Unused subs: Noto, Eyres, Slabber.
