Two wins vital

Posted on 17 April 2003  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Glenn Hoddle believes two wins over the Easter period could put a completely different complexion on the battle for Europe.

We kick-off the Premiership's busy festive programme with a televised home clash against Manchester City tomorrow (3pm) before travelling to West Brom on Monday.

"The next two games for us are going to be very significant," stressed Glenn at Spurs Lodge.

"If you look at the teams we're in there with after a place in Europe I would say Everton are in pole position, but they have a derby match against Liverpool and Chelsea away.

"Blackburn have a derby match against Bolton and they also have United to play.

"We have two games that we have to win and if we're successful it could put a completely different complexion on things.

"It's up to us to get our own business right. It's up to us and then we'll see where that takes us."
