Michael Dawson says it's vital we follow up Tuesday's win against Stoke with more Premier League points at Bolton on Saturday.
'Daws' was on target as we produced our best half of football of the season to lead 3-0 inside the opening half-hour of the crucial encounter against the Potters at the Lane.
Jermain Defoe and Aaron Lennon were also on target as we climbed from 16th to 13th in the table and we now travel to the Reebok level on points with Bolton.
"We need to try and get back-to-back wins to continue climbing up the table," said Michael at Spurs Lodge on Friday.
"Another win would open up a bit of a gap from the bottom three and will build the confidence going into Arsenal next weekend - that's another massive game for us."
Michael expects his regular battle with striker Kevin Davies at Bolton but feels that first half performance against Stoke underlined what we're capable of.
"I thought we dealt well with the physical side of it against Stoke and this could be similar," he said.
"Hopefully we'll get the ball down and get into our passing game again because we showed what we could do against Stoke. That first half was a fantastic performance."
Bolton were also in action on Tuesday night and left Ewood Park frustrated after leading 2-0 at half-time only to allow Blackburn back into it for a final 2-2 scoreline.
"They would have been disappointed with drawing in the end but that is what the league is like this season," added Michael. "It's so tight down there and that's why back-to-back wins could make such a difference."
