Jamie O'Hara has joined Tom Huddlestone and Aaron Lennon in the England Under-21 squad for Tuesday's (February 5) Euro qualifier against the Republic of Ireland.

It's the first time the versatile midfielder has been called into the Under-21 squad and caps a fine spell following his debut and impressive displays at Spurs.

Tom will look to add to his 24 caps while, by comparison, flying winger Aaron only has two appearances at U21 level after his swift promotion into the senior squad for the World Cup in 2006.

Previously capped at Under-16 and Under-17 levels, Jamie will now hope to take part in the action at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium, kick-off 7.45pm.

England have made a fine start to this European U21 Championship qualifying campaign with five wins and a draw from six games and top Group Three.

Meanwhile, Chris Gunter has been named in the Wales squad to face Norway in a friendly at Wrexham on Wednesday February 6.
