Trio in England squad

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Paul Robinson, Michael Carrick and Jermain Defoe have been named in the England squad for Wednesday's friendly against Denmark.


Keeper Robbo is straight back into the squad for the game in Copenhagen after injury ruled him out of the tour of the USA at the end of last season.


Midfielder Michael holds onto his place in the squad after impressing in the States and it has been suggested that Jermain will start up front with Michael Owen suspended for England's next World Cup qualifier against Northern Ireland. Owen is still in the squad though.


Ledley King is unavailable for selection because of his groin injury.
