Andros and Kyle, our right-sided duo, played their part as the Three Lions secured their place at next summer’s World Cup finals with consecutive wins over Montenegro and Poland at Wembley in October, while Jermain Defoe was on the bench for both games.
Andros in particular grabbed the headlines after scoring a magnificent goal on his senior England debut against Montenegro – a game in which he linked up with right-back Kyle to great effect – before carrying on his fine form in the crunch match against Poland that ultimately guaranteed England’s qualification for the tournament finals as winners of Group H. Kyle missed out on the Poland match through suspension.
The trio have now been rewarded with a place in the squad for the matches at Wembley against Chile on Friday, November 15, and Germany on Tuesday, November 19.
In addition, Harry Kane has been named in Gareth Southgate's England Under-21s squad for the forthcoming Euro qualifiers against Finland and San Marino.
Harry has been in great form of late, having bagged a hat-trick for Southgate's side in their Euro qualifier against San Marino last month, while he played a crucial role for us in last week's Capital One Cup victory over Hull City, scoring our second goal in extra time and then tucking away his penalty in the shoot-out.
England Under-21s play Finland on Thursday, November 14, before opposing San Marino on Tuesday, November 19.
Congratulations to all four lads!
