It was great to see the reaction our recent Year of the Monkey celebrations received on Chinese social media during the New Year period.

Our signed shirt giveaway and accompanying video content was a campaign that went viral with the No.1 trending hashtag on Weibo, China’s equivalent to Twitter, on New Year’s Day with 6.4 million reads.

This week, Titan Sports, the country’s biggest sports newspaper, presented Heung-Min Son with their Best Footballer in Asia award for 2015.

It is clear that the team’s performances this season and our continued fan engagement is capturing the imagination of an ever-growing number of football fans in China.
