Simon Davies (shin)
Simon has just resumed full training and, unfortunately, is not quite there yet. We've had to protect the area of the operation from contact so, although he has been training with the other players, there has been no contact, which meant he was not really fit enough for the Wales international. We are hoping he will at least be available for the bench on Sunday, but it does depend a little bit on building contact into his training.
Thimothee Atouba (knee)
Thimothee certainly made very quick progress with his knee - injured at West Brom - and he went away with Cameroon on the understanding they would assess him and make a decision over his fitness. We will obviously have a look at him when he comes back but the fact that he played is great news.
He injured his ankle last week playing for the reserves, but it is much better today and he can walk completely comfortably on it. There is a little bit of ligament damage, so we will be taking it carefully over the next couple of days. Unfortunately, it does potentially conflict with England under-19 international duty.
Jamie Slabber (dislocated shoulder)
Jamie is doing really well and is running now. He has got quite a way to go on his shoulder, but it is going to plan. We are trying to ensure that by the time his shoulder is better he doesn't have to have a long fitness rehab on top.
Dean Richards (ear infection)
He has still got a problem with his ear and is trying different treatments, but each one needs to be tested individually.
Eddie hurt the joint between his shoulder and collar bone during the reserve game last week and it has caused some damage for which he is having treatment. He can't take part in full training, but he is running around and it is settling really well. We hope he will be back in full training next week.
Simon Davies nearly to back to full training reports Dr Charlotte Cowie in her latest medical bulletin.
