Treatment table

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Head of Medical Facilities Dr Charlotte Cowie gives us the latest from the treatment room...

Anthony Gardner (nose)
Dr Cowie: "We can confirm he did break his nose at Bolton. He's in a lot of pain today (Wednesday) and we have to make a decision over the next couple of days as to whether or not it will be operated on. In the short-term, he won't be available for Saturday although we hope he might be able to get back reasonably quickly."

Sean Davis (back)
Dr Cowie: "It's a completely different problem. In the last couple of days his mid-back has started to hurt and it was bad timing in as much as we all hoped he would be able to play in the game against Northampton at the training ground and that would have stood him in good stead for a return to first team action. We're confident it will settle down quickly but it's a frustrating time for him because in terms of the knee injury he was ready."

Reto Ziegler (hamstring)

Dr Cowie: "He's not completely comfortable yet and we have to be a little cautious with him. He appears to be okay because he's running well but hamstring injuries come under pressure when you sprint and if needs to go at full speed, he's still a little uncomfortable. We're looking at another week's worth of rehabilitation and then a gradual re-introduction into training."
