Fans who have purchased tickets for the upcoming game in Bremen are advised to look at the website below before travelling.
You can register your trip on LOCATE which will help Consular staff to find and contact you in the event of a crisis.
The stadium will open at 6.45pm, two hours before kick-off (8.45pm local time, 7.45pm UK) and you will be met by THFC Travel Stewards, who are there to assist the Bremen Security Staff.
Following meetings with the security officials both in the UK and in Europe regarding away matches in this season's UEFA Champions League, we are advising supporters who have been allocated official tickets by Tottenham Hotspur that they will be required to carry their One Hotspur Season Stadium Access card AND a copy of the details page of their Passport when they travel the stadium.
The Police will be carrying out spot checks at the entry points to the stadium to ensure the season card and passports match the named ticket holders list that the Club are obliged to provide to the UK and host Police Forces.
If Tottenham fans are found in the Home areas, they will be removed and not relocated with the visiting fans.
The away sector is entered via gate 10 which will lead you up to sectors 101-113, where there are adequate catering and welfare facilities available. Searching of the THFC fans will take place once you have passed through the ticket check at the gates and will be carried out by Bremen Security Staff. Once in side the stadium the seats are numbered and fans are requested to sit in the seats they have been allocated. Standing is strictly prohibited.
There is a large fence that surrounds the away sector and this may cause some sight line problems.
As normal, large flags (flags must not exceed 1.5 x 1.0m, flag poles must be plastic and no longer than 1.5m) whilst banners are welcome, but due to building work being carried out in the stadium there may not be anywhere to hang them. However all banners will be checked for appropriate wording and prohibited items include bottles, weapons, alcohol and flares will not be allowed in the stadium. Please be aware that these items may be taken from you at the point of entry.
Please do not travel if you are not in possession of a ticket.
Although Bremen has its own small airport, you can also fly into Hamburg or Hanover and then easily travel on to Bremen.
If you are using one of the above airports then you need to take a train from either of the above in to Bremen Central Station. From the station you can catch either a number 3 or number 10 tram that will take you to the stadium.
Please note that your match ticket will act as a tram ticket from three hours before the game until midnight.
If you lose your passport...
Report the loss to the local Police as soon as possible and obtain a copy of the Police report. British Consular officials in both Hamburg and Berlin can issue an Emergency Passport, which is a temporary, one-way travel document, to allow you to return to UK, but you will need to produce the following:
- Police report
- An acceptable form of ID (eg photographic driving licence, photocopy of your passport)
- 2 passport-size photographs
- Fee of 89 € (in cash)
If you need your passport processed out of office hours an additional call-out fee of £131.70 (166 €) will be charged.
Look after your personal belongings, in particular your Passport and your money. We recommend that you carry a photocopy of the personal details page of your Passport and keep it in a safe place separate from your Passport.
IF YOU LOSE YOUR MONEY
British Consular Officials cannot give you money to help you return home. You can transfer money from the UK using Western Union, a reputable and quick world-wide money transfer agency. You can also use most major credit and debit cards in German cash machines if you know your pin.
IF YOU ARE ARRESTED
British consular officials can visit you in prison (if you request it) and can put you in touch with local Lawyers if you need one. But they cannot get you out of prison, represent you in court, or pay your bills.
If there is an emergency during your visit to Bremen you can contact British Consular staff on the following numbers:
- 0049 40 4480 32 36 (Hamburg Consulate)
If the line is engaged you will be diverted to the mailbox so leave a message and contact telephone number
- 0049 17195 88311 (Consular Officer in Berlin)
May we please remind you that anyone travelling to our UEFA Champions League matches is doing so as an Ambassador of the Club. It is vital that respect is shown at all times to our hosts and the local community. Cases of disorder will be dealt with firmly by the local Police in Bremen.
Thanks, as always, for your support.
