Over 300 OzSpurs members from all over Australia turned out to meet Ossie at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf on Sydney Harbour.
After being welcomed by Australia Spurs President Mark Lawson, Ossie took to the stage and had his audience hooked with stories from his glorious career at White Hart Lane.
Ossie spoke about the team he starred in in the early 1980s, Ricky Villa and his goal in the 1981 FA Cup Final replay ('I thought shoot, shoot, please shoot'), his World Cup win with Argentina in 1978, Ossie's Dream ('it was better than Diamond Lights, they thought they could sing!') our 1984 UEFA Cup triumph and just what it is that makes Spurs so special ('we always try to play the beautiful game') before taking a range of questions from the floor.

Ossie then signed autographs and posed for photographs with everyone in the building.
One of those photos was with the Perth chapter of OzSpurs, WA Spurs, set-up 15 years ago by Lawrence Kaye, one of many ex-Pats who found they had a common theme - Tottenham Hotspur.
Lawrence had his famed 'Can't Smile Without You' flag flown over for the occasion.
He said: "It's incredible so see how far OzSpurs has come since those early days in Perth. I'll be honest, I'll probably shed a tear when I see over 70,000 fans watching Spurs here in Australia on Saturday."
