Our magnificent support Down Under struck a chord with Hugo Lloris and the players.

If the reception at the airport and open training wasn't enough, over 70,000 fans turned out for our AIA Cup match against Sydney FC at the ANZ Stadium on Saturday night.

"The support of the Spurs fans is quite unbelievable here," said Hugo.

"We know now that all around the world there are Spurs fans and they are right behind the club, right behind the team and we really want to thank them all. It means a lot."

Harry struck his third goal on tour as we overcame the A-League runners -up by the only goal of the game just before half-time. There were chances either end in an entertaining encounter with both teams also denied by goalline clearances.

"When you start a game, the intention is always to win," added the skipper. "Okay, it’s a friendly, but when you represent your club, your team, you have to win. And when you do, it makes it a good feeling for everyone."
