The pair from Leytonstone and Enfield respectively turned their hand to speciality Malaysian foods to help our official Malaysia Supporters Club raise money for the IDEAS Autism Centre.
First up, the Academy graduates made Teh Tarik, a hot drink that mixes tea (sometimes spiced), condensed milk and hot water. The ingredients are mixed together before tipping the drink between cups - Teh Tarik is almost translated as ‘pulled tea’ and the higher the pour, the better!
Next up, it was Roti Canai, a flatbread made very much similar to pizza, with the a batter (like pancakes back in the UK) turned and flipped, before being heated up on a hot stove.
The dishes were auctioned and went down a treat with over £1,250 raised for charity!
