We’ll take on Seattle Sounders, Toronto FC and Chicago Fire – all giants of the MLS – when we head across the Atlantic next month in preparation for the 2014-15 season.
Winger Andros is relishing the prospect of testing himself against opponents from the top league in North America.
And the fact that former Spurs stars Clint Dempsey and Jermain Defoe now play for Seattle and Toronto respectively only adds to the excitement factor for the 22-year-old.
“The main thing is to get fit and get match minutes under your belt but I’m looking forward to it – especially seeing two former team-mates in Clint and Jermain,” Andros said.
“It will be great to play against them, hopefully win, and then see them afterwards.
“The MLS is a league that’s growing. When we first went there in 2010 and played San Jose Earthquakes and the New York Red Bulls, the quality was right up there.
“They gave us good matches then and I’m sure it will be just as tough this time.”
