Harry Redknapp is relishing what he describes as one of the toughest starts to a season he's faced as a manager.
We kick-off the campaign against Everton at White Hart Lane on Saturday, August 13 and follow up with a trip to Old Trafford to face champions Manchester United on August 20 and then Manchester City at the Lane on August 27 before an international break over the weekend of September 3.
The next fixture sees us travel to Molineux and Wolves on September 10 then Liverpool at home, Wigan away and the first north London derby against Arsenal at the Lane on October 1 before a second international break.
You can also throw into the mix our Europa League play-off on August 18 and 25, the possible first two group matches in the Europa League and the third round of the Carling Cup - all before October!
"That's one of the toughest starts I've had in all my years as a manager," said Harry this morning.
"Everton are a strong side and always difficult to beat, United at Old Trafford is as tough as it gets and then City at home makes for a difficult start.
"But they are all great games to look forward to, big homes games especially in front of a packed White Hart Lane. They are all exciting games.
"It would be great to get off to a good start and we're all looking forward to it."
