Calling all current Year 11s! Are you wondering what your next step will be after GCSEs? Interested in a career at the cutting edge of a growing industry?

Why not come along to Tottenham UTC’s Sixth Form Options Evening this Thursday (November 12), 6.30pm – 8.30pm, and find out how North London’s best educational offer can shape your future?

Based within Lilywhite House upon the site of Tottenham Hotspur’s sport-led regeneration scheme, TUTC delivers a curriculum of Technology and Science for Sport, Health and Engineering for 14 to 18-year-olds.

Students are provided with an opportunity to study for future employment and address a skills gap within an industry that requires 2.5 million engineers within the next seven years to contribute an extra £27 billion per year to the UK economy.

The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with over £1million worth of robotics and University-standard machinery which gives students an advantage over peers when they progress onto Further and Higher Education.

The Options Evening will give prospective students the chance to receive detailed information on the specialised A Level, BTEC and Vocational courses offered, as well as a one-year Sixth Form programme for GCSE retakes.

Activities available on the night include mechatronics, the opportunity to speak to current students and teachers, the chance to take a tour of the impressive facility and table tennis with Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.

Backed by businesses from a range of industries, including Tottenham Hotspur, Middlesex University, London Stansted Airport, Festo, National Instruments, Mindsets and Fusion, students have the opportunity to access careers within fields such as sports science, product design and mechanical engineering.

TUTC is currently recruiting Year 10, 11, 12 and 13 students to start at TUTC in September, 2016. Students benefit from a curriculum that focuses on real-life work projects, providing an unparalleled access to future employment and an opportunity to move on to University, further education, apprenticeships and work placements.
