We took a 2-0 first half lead thanks to Erik Lamela’s well-taken brace in what was the second of our three matches on our Tour of the USA and Canada.

Following wholesale changes at the break, Toronto pulled a goal back through Andrew Wiedeman, before Jordan Hamilton restored parity.

We would have the last laugh, however, as Andros Townsend fired into the top corner with five minutes remaining.

Spurs second half (4-2-3-1): Friedel; Walker, Dawson, Fryers, Rose; Carroll, Holtby; Townsend, Ceballos, Falque; Kane. Unused subs: McGee, Fredericks.
