The central defender admits that it has been difficult to put the Manchester City reverse to the back of his mind, but knows securing the three points against Pompey is essential.
"It was always going to be a strange mood after a game like that and we've got to put it behind us now and get ready for the Portsmouth game, which is what we have been trying to do for the last day or so," reflected Anthony.
"It was hard, you do look back on a game on your own, which is natural and you have to try your best to put it to the back of your mind and get on with the next thing in your life or work - which is Saturday's game.
"We will definitely be trying to put on a performance for the fans, see if we can entertain and get the three points that we need."
