West Ham moved into seventh place following their win over Charlton last week, while our defeat in N5 saw us drop a place.
Anthony feels that the battle to finish higher in the table will turn up the heat for the meeting at the Lane.
"They had a good result on Saturday that puts them a point above us, which sets it up for being a massive clash this week," said Anthony.
"Everybody wants to finish as high as they can, West Ham being a London team as well, we both want to finish higher than each other.
"It will be a competitive game like last week and both teams will be looking for all the points."
Anthony, who has cemented a place in the team in recent games, feels that Spurs and Hammers have at least one thing in common - the desire to play good football.
"Last season we played them a few times with playing them in the cup and did well. Both teams try and play a lot of football and hopefully it will be the same at the weekend."
Anthony Gardner says the boys are determined to finish as high up the table as possible and topple West Ham on Saturday.
