More games, more goals - Tom Huddlestone passed his personal targets last season and is looking to build again next time around.
The midfielder made 41 appearances in all competitions in 2007-08 including starts in seven of our 10 matches in the UEFA Cup.
That was six more appearances in total than 2006-07 and his goal tally went up by one as well, from three to four.
His performances were rewarded by first call into Fabio Capello's senior England squad for the end-of-season friendlies against the USA and Trinidad & Tobago.
"My main objective was to play more games than last season and I did that by quite a few," reflected the midfielder. "We played less games as well, so that was pleasing.
"By playing more games, you should be looking to score more goals and I did that by one, so that's an improvement as well.
"If you want to be a successful team you can't just rely on your strikers to score all the goals, you need goals from all over the pitch - just look at Manchester United and the goals Ronaldo scored. It's something I'm always looking to work on."
