Only just turned 21, the Academy graduate is looking to build on performances that not only caught the eye at Spurs, but earned his first caps at England Under-21 level.
Indeed, Tom was in the provisional squad for the European U21 Championships but didn’t make the final cut for Israel.
“Last season was a positive one for me,” he said on his return to pre-season training this week. “I’m delighted to have made my Premier League debut and made quite a few appearances.
“It was nice that the gaffer trusted me to come on in some big games and I hope I did myself justice.
“Hopefully I’ll push on again and make more appearances for Spurs. That’s what I want to do.
“I’m not a cemented squad member yet, I know that, so I’ll take nothing for granted and continue to work hard.”
