Tom Carroll and Harry Kane won't forget England Under-21s clash with Scotland for a while.

Both of our players came off the bench in the 58th minute with the Young Lions already 5-0 up and on their way to a 6-0 victory at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane.

The appearance marked Harry's first cap at Under-21 level having represented England in the summer's FIA U20 World Cup.

It was also only Tom's second cap at U21 level and it took the midfielder just three minutes to make his mark.

Nathan Redmond burst into the box down the right and when he cut the ball back, Tom timed his run to perfection to sidefoot a sweet strike into the roof of the net from 16 yards.

Harry went close later on, firing just over from a cross from John Stones.

As the England pair were celebrating, it was a tough night for their Spurs team-mate and Scottish goalkeeper Jordan Archer, who earned his seventh cap at U21 level.

Here's a round-up of where our senior players will be in action on international duty on Wednesday...
