Tom Huddlestone has stressed the importance of our first league win of the season going into tomorrow's north London derby with Arsenal.
The midfielder believes the early goal in our 2-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers enabled us to stamp our authority on the clash and take the three points.
He believes it summed up the rejuvenated belief within the side and is now hoping we can build on a vital result.
"It is only three points - but it was a massive three points for ourselves and something we can definitely look to build on," said Tom.
"Maybe we've been drawn into playing the same game as the opposition at times this season, but on Sunday we played our own game, kept the ball on the ground, moved it around quickly and got the three points we deserved.
"We haven't taken the lead in many games this season either, but an early goal gives us the confidence to relax and play our own game, which we did.
"With the players we've got, we shouldn't be in the position we are in, but this fresh start has given everyone a confidence boost."
