Simon played seven of eight of Wales' qualifying matches - missing Saturday's clash against Serbia & Montenegro through injury - as they finished second behind Italy in Group Nine. Russia, meanwhile, finished strongly in Group Ten and beat Ireland for runners-up spot.
Milenko played the full match as Slovenia drew against Cyprus on Saturday but their second spot was already guaranteed in Group One behind all-conquering France, who won eight out of eight.
Scotland, meanwhile, take on Holland.
