Time to get back on track

Posted on 4 November 2004  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Jamie Redknapp says it's time to turn around our home record against Charlton and get back on track in the Premiership this weekend.

We've yet to beat Charlton at home in the Premiership but Alan Curbishley's men arrive at the Lane somewhat out of sorts, without a win in five games and without an away win in the league.

However, we go into the game on the back of three successive defeats in the Premiership.

"We're going through a bit of a tricky period in terms of results," said skipper Jamie. "We've got to accept that the performances against Bolton and Fulham weren't good enough.

"We need to get back to winning ways. Charlton are going through a difficult period as well but in Alan Curbishley they've got one of the best young managers around and he'll turn it around.

"We've struggled at home against them and we know it will be tough but we need to get back on track and start looking up the table rather than down.

"If we can get a win it gets us looking back up the table and we can look forward to Burnley and what is always one of the best games of the season against Arsenal next weekend."
