Tickets selling fast for Tribute

Posted on 16 October 2002  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Tickets are selling fast for Thursday's Tottenham Tribute Match - so make sure you don't miss out.

It's a night of legends at the Lane with Glenn Hoddle, Jurgen Klinsmann, David Ginola, Paul Gascoigne, Chris Waddle, Paul and Clive Allen all pulling on the white shirt again.

The Spurs dream team take on American MSL outfit DC United in a game to raise funds for former players.

Ticket Office manager Karen Murphy confirmed: "Certainly, since the weekend, there has been a lot of interest and tickets are selling fast. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity for Spurs fans to see these legendary players all on the pitch at the same time."

The club cannot now post tickets in time for Thursday's game so ticket purchased from the Ticket Office can be picked up from Paxton Road on the night. Alternatively, you can purchase tickets in person from the Park Lane Ticket Office. Opening hours are 10am-6pm today and Wednesday and 10am right up until half-time on Thursday.

Proceeds from the tribute match will go to the Tottenham Tribute Trust fund to benefit former players of the Club. Funds will be distributed to ex-players by an independent panel of trustees, which will include members of the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust (THST).
