Midfielder Gus Poyet (concussion), wing-back Mauricio Taricco (ankle) and defender Dean Richards (cup-tied) are definitely out of the fourth round clash.
Boss Glenn also reported that Ledley King is struggling with a stomach bug and Les Ferdinand is a doubt with an ankle knock sustained late on at West Ham on Saturday.
Glenn said: "Ledley's still in bed at the moment with a stomach bug, Les has missed training today (Wednesday) after a kick on the ankle and Tano is still unavailable, so we're going to be using the squad.
"It's been an awkward week for us with players not being around and we won't know a team until late in the day."
Glenn suggested that our third-successive derby clash after Arsenal and West Ham would be a real test of the squad's strength in depth.
He added: "This is where it will be interesting to see if we can maintain the level of performances that we've had with fresh faces. It's when a squad is needed.
"The depth of the squad will always dictate how far you can go and this will be a test for us.
"When players have been playing with each other and you have a settled team you knit together nicely and the feeling of having someone next to you week in, week out, is great.
"This is a test, as big a test as the opponents. The test is can we pick up the reins and have players taken things on board from pre-season and all the way through?
"It's also a big game for us. It's a competition where we've got to do as well as we can.
"It is a route into Europe for us and as I've said before, that is an important issue for the club at this moment in time. So it's a massive game for us."
