While Glenn confirmed that none of the injured players would be back for Saturday’s encounter at Leicester City, he revealed brighter news on a number of them.
“Steffen Iversen can start training again, that’s a plus,” said Glenn. “Steffen Freund is up to some good running, Chris Perry should start running soon and Ledley King is running again.
“Mauricio Taricco may have a chance of playing for the reserves next week, so that’s another bonus.
“It will be good for him to get a couple of games in so he knows in his mind he can play 90 minutes before the end of the season.
“So there is some light at the end of the tunnel but the problem is that we’re running out of games.
“They are not going to be fit for the last game and it’s a shame but that’s the way it is. “We have to keep working with the players we’ve got and they have showed a great attitude in trying to take in new concepts but a lot of it is trying to bed it down for the start of next season.”
To add insult to injuries, Willem Korsten is suspended for the trip to Filbert Street after his red card against Chelsea.
