We played out a 1-1 draw back in August, how have Liverpool performed since then? The team has certainly been getting some rave reviews of late!
James: "Liverpool's season has gathered momentum since that draw at White Hart Lane. They have won six and drawn one in all competitions - plundering 18 goals in the process. They are playing an exciting brand of attacking football and confidence is growing. The front four of Firmino, Coutinho, Mane and Lallana in particular have been in outstanding form."
Liverpool were runners-up in this competition last season and with no European football, is it a target again?
James: "Jurgen Klopp vowed to take the competition seriously and he was true to his word with the teams he put out against Burton and Derby in the earlier rounds. Liverpool have won the League Cup more than any other club and Klopp will be desperate to go one better after last season's loss to Manchester City on penalties in the final."

With that in mind, how do you think Klopp will line-up? Any players definitely out?
James: "Jordan Henderson serves a one-match ban after picking up five bookings and I'd expect a number of other first-team regulars to be rested. Liverpool have greater strength in depth this season. The bench has looked very strong in recent weeks and Klopp will be looking for some of those on the fringes to step up.
"Lucas Leiva, Daniel Sturridge, Ragnar Klavan, Divock Origi and Alberto Moreno will be among those hoping to get a chance to shine. Danny Ings, Marko Grujic, Ovie Ejaria, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kevin Stewart were all left out of the Liverpool Under-23s squad on Sunday as Klopp wanted them training with the first team ahead of the visit of Spurs."
