‘Ade’ planted home two towering headers to secure another valuable three-point haul after the visitors had levelled Rafa van der Vaart’s early strike.
The goals after 73 and 86 minutes made it 14 for the season in all competitions for Ade and took us level again with Arsenal in the Premier League.
“I’m happy for Emmanuel, he scored twice and a striker always needs to score goals to be confident,” said Younes, outstanding in central defence.
“He’s been in good form and he scored two magnificent goals. That’s the Emmanuel we all know. He worked hard, pressed the defenders well - he’s been fantastic.”
Younes added that the three points was really all that mattered against impressive opponents.
“The most important thing for us was to take the three points because Arsenal lost at QPR,” he said.
“We played against a very good team in Swansea, they play good football, just like a mini-Barcelona.
“I think the fact we scored the first goal helped us, but at 1-1 it was more difficult but at 2-1, then 3-1, the game was over.
“Now we travel to Sunderland on Saturday, that will be a tough away game. They were very good against City. We need to be in good form up there.”
