For it was in England's second city that Teddy scored his last goal against Birmingham back at the end of November.
"What a nice point that is!" laughed the skipper. "I've also just been told that it is the first time we've won here in 17 years - so all sorts of milestones are coming out, aren't they?"
It was, indeed, our first victory at Villa Park since 1986 and Teddy explained that he had a half-time hunch that a Stephen Carr cross would lead to a winner.
"I said to Carry at half time - he put a few good balls in during the first half - 'keep putting them in because we'll get a goal from your side in the second half'.
"He did that, we had a little laugh about it and we are all very pleased that it hit the back of the net and we got the three points."
Teddy Sheringham quickly got the drift when it was gently suggested to him that Birmingham must be his favourite place at the moment after he netted the winner against Aston Villa on Saturday.
