The skipper bagged his fifth goal of the campaign in Sunday's 2-0 win against Leeds United to help us back into seventh spot in the Premiership.
Teddy, who has made over 250 appearances for us in two spells, is convinced we can push on from here.
He declared: "I said in my programme notes that I've never been so optimistic about a Spurs squad.
"In the seven years I've been associated with the club this is the best squad we've had and we're being asked to play the game in the right manner.
"Once everyone is fit, we've got a strong squad at the moment, 20 players pushing for places and that can only be good for us.
"We just need to be a little more consistent and with the chopping and changing in the league around Christmas, hopefully we'll have the players to do the job."
Teddy Sheringham has reiterated his belief that this is the strongest squad in his time at Spurs.
