We travel to Bolton on Monday with one point from our last three games having lost against West Ham and Liverpool.
But it's looking better for the Reebok Stadium with Darren Anderton back from suspension and Robbie Keane hopefully ready again after a knee problem.
Skipper Teddy reasoned: "We're at a stage where we're not having the best of runs and we need to snap out of it quickly.
"The teams that we're playing in the next couple of weeks, Bolton and Birmingham, are scrapping for their lives and we need to as well to get into the European places.
"I stated at the start of the season that there are teams like Middlesbrough who I thought would do well, didn't do well at the start but are now on a roll and charging up behind us.
"Manchester City are there as well and we want to stay above those teams and keep competing. We've got some tough games and we need to start winning."
Teddy Sheringham insists we have to quickly snap out of our indifferent spell in the Premiership.
