Matches are never easy against teams down in the lower reaches of the table who are fighting relegation. It was a tough battle, I'm sure it wasn't the prettiest of games but we came through with the three points which is just what we needed at this stage of the season.
It was a very cheeky goal from Robbie, one which gave us a bit of a laugh afterwards because he's been trying it all season. It took an inexperienced - and unfortunate - goalkeeper playing his first game for Birmingham to not be aware of the situation and allow Robbie to capitalise and to be fair, it was just what we needed so early in the game.
That win took us full of confidence to Leeds. To be honest we fully deserved our lead after 45 minutes and although we were 2-1 up it could so easily have been three or four, such was our performance in that half.
We played some very good football, probably some of the best for a couple of months. But credit to Leeds, they're in a position where every point is crucial for them as well and they came back at us in the second half to earn a draw.
We still could have won the match after the break though with a bit more luck on the day but it wasn't to be. However out of those two games, we looked a lot more steady than we have done recently and that was one of the most pleasing things.
Obviously we are looking for six points out of the next two games over Easter, that goes without saying, but you never know how things are going to pan out against teams such as West Brom, who we play on Monday, who are fighting for their lives down at the bottom. Today's opponents City look well clear of trouble though as they sit in mid-table.
However, we have to approach both matches in the right manner and if we get maximum points, it will take us closer to a European place and who knows what might happen in the last few weeks of the season.
Enjoy the game.
First of all, looking back to our last game here we were delighted to register a very good win against Birmingham.
