Harry Redknapp puts our fine recent defensive record at the Lane down to the team ethic.

Sunday's 1-0 win against Newcastle made it five-successive clean sheets at home in the Barclays Premier League.

That's our best sequence since 1987 and fourth equal in the club's history as we've climbed up to ninth place and just a point off West Ham in seventh.

"We've got everyone working hard and closing down all over the pitch and we've got out rewards," said Harry, now preparing for Saturday's trip to United.

"The lads have also been fantastic. Ledley, Woody, the goalkeeper has been great, the full-backs and the players in front of them have all worked hard as well.

"When Ledley's been out, Michael Dawson has been outstanding as well. He was doing a great job for us against Newcastle until he was injured.

"Basically, we've a group of players who are all playing at their best."

Meanwhile, there was an update from Harry on Michael - although there is no real change from Sunday.

"His ankle's still too swollen to scan so we have to wait until the swelling goes down and we can then scan it and see what the damage is," added Harry.
