England's number one is ready for action against the Bundesliga side after almost two weeks of training at Spurs Lodge.
He is joined for the first time in the full squad this summer by fellow World Cup participants Jermaine Jenas, Aaron Lennon, Didier Zokora and Lee Young-Pyo.
Both Young-Pyo and Didier made their first appearances of pre-season last weekend at Cambridge City - it was Didier's debut, Young-Pyo scored - while Aaron and Jermaine have played two friendlies each.
Good news sees the return of Paul Stalteri after an ankle injury sustained at our training camp in France while fit-again Anthony Gardner is back in first team action following his 70-minute stint in our Spurs XI's 3-1 win against Fisher Athletic.
The down side sees Teemu Tainio (ankle) join Ledley King (knee) and Andy Reid (foot) on the sidelines. Edgar Davids has travelled to Holland for a routine eye check.
Boss Martin Jol reported on Friday: "Paul Robinson comes in for his first game, Paul Stalteri is back and he'll probably play 45 minutes.
"Teemu Tainio twisted his ankle in training and might be out for a couple of weeks.
"Ledley King is out for a few weeks, Andy Reid is still out with his foot injury and Edgar Davids has gone to see his eye specialist in Holland.
"Borussia Dortmund is one of the best supported clubs in Europe. They have a stadium of 80,000 that is always a sell-out, it's very difficult to go there and have a result but that is what we have to do if we want to do something in Europe.
"We've played French teams, a Spanish team and an Italian team so far in pre-season and this is another good test for us."
Squad: Robinson, Cerny, Lee, Dawson, Davenport, Gardner, Assou-Ekotto, Routledge, Lennon, Murphy, Jenas, Ghaly, Huddlestone, Zokora, Ziegler, Berbatov, Defoe, Keane.
Paul Robinson returns to make it a full quota of World Cup players in the squad for Saturday's friendly at Borussia Dortmund.
