Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Glenn Hoddle faces an anxious wait to see if Les Ferdinand, Tim Sherwood and Simon Davies are fit for Wednesday night's trip to Old Trafford.

Striker Les has aggravated a groin strain while midfielders Tim and Simon are doubtful with groin and calf problems respectively. Oyvind Leonhardsen, a probable deputy, is also a doubt with a calf problem.

Darren Anderton (hamstring) and Steffen Iversen (groin) are definitely out.

At least the news continues to be positive on the long-term injuries with Stephen Clemence completing 90 minutes for the reserves on Monday and Gary Doherty, Steve Carr and Chris Armstrong all back in training. Steffen Freund is also progressing well after knee surgery.

Roy Keane and Laurent Blanc are ready to return for United after missing the Derby draw on Sunday with flu and a knee injury respectively.

Either Juan Sebastian Veron or Paul Scholes could stand down for Keane. Ronny Johnsen or Denis Irwin could move to the bench with Phil Neville also challenging for a place.

Sir Alex Ferguson may decide to use Blanc and Johnsen as his central partnership with Gary Neville in contention.

Diego Forlan is on the verge of his first start after a string of substitute appearances and Ruud van Nistelrooy may be rested.
