Martin Jol has a number of injury concerns ahead of Sunday's short trip to face West Ham United.Benoit Assou-Ekotto will have knee surgery on Monday, while Steed Malbranque and Danny Murphy look to be out of contention. Ledley King remains absent for the Upton Park encounter, with Robbie Keane suspended following his red card last weekend against Bolton.

Pascal Chimbonda, Jermaine Jenas and Didier Zokora are fitness doubts and will be assessed tomorrow.

"It is quite a big list!" reported Martin this afternoon. "Benoit has torn a cartilege in his left knee and he will have an operation on Monday which will sideline him for probably seven or eight weeks.

"Pascal has got a chest infection that could be a problem, but we will assess it tomorrow. Robbie will serve a one-match ban, Ledley is still out, Jermaine Jenas sustained a groin strain and didn't train today, we will have a look at him tomorrow, but he is likely to be okay.

"Steed Malbranque is improving after suffering a groin strain but will probably be out for Sunday. Danny Murphy has a calf tear that will keep him out for one week, while Didier Zokora has got a calf strain but will hopefully be okay."
