Pascal Chimbonda, Jermaine Jenas and Didier Zokora are fitness doubts and will be assessed tomorrow.
"It is quite a big list!" reported Martin this afternoon. "Benoit has torn a cartilege in his left knee and he will have an operation on Monday which will sideline him for probably seven or eight weeks.

"Steed Malbranque is improving after suffering a groin strain but will probably be out for Sunday. Danny Murphy has a calf tear that will keep him out for one week, while Didier Zokora has got a calf strain but will hopefully be okay."
Martin Jol has a number of injury concerns ahead of Sunday's short trip to face West Ham United.Benoit Assou-Ekotto will have knee surgery on Monday, while Steed Malbranque and Danny Murphy look to be out of contention.
