Martin Jol remains hopeful that Mido will be fit to face Bolton on Sunday - but concedes he 'will probably be out'.

The striker has missed our last three games against Everton, United and Arsenal with first a groin and now a knee injury.

"I still have a hope that Mido will be on the bench on Sunday but I don't think he will quite make it," reported Head Coach Martin at Friday's pre-Bolton media briefings at Spurs Lodge. "He has a cyst in his knee."

Better news sees Teemu Tainio fit to play despite worries over a broken toe but Ledley King (stress fracture, fourth metatarsal in left foot) and Jermaine Jenas (shin) remain out and Edgar Davids serves his one-match suspension following his red card at Arsenal last weekend.

Martin added: "Ledley is having ongoing treatment but is out for the rest of the season.

"JJ will be out on Sunday. He had the start of a little stress fracture and if he played last weekend, it could have been. I thought he had a chance this Sunday, he's out, but he could play next week."
