Sean Davis is unlikely to return to first team action against his former club Fulham at the Lane on Saturday.
The midfielder came through his first 90-minute stint since October with flying colours for the reserves at Charlton on Monday night.
However, Head Coach Martin Jol says he's not quite ready for the Barclays Premiership. "Sean needs another game," said Martin.
"He played the whole game against Charlton, did well, looked alright, but he feels he needs another game and I think he's right.
"You always miss injured players or players who are unavailable, like Andy Reid for instance, he was cup-tied against Forest. I prefer to have them all on board.
"Browny and Michael Carrick have played all the games though and Pedro Mendes is fit, so we haven't had a real problem there, but you never know."
As reported yesterday, Thimothee Atouba is a doubt with a knee problem, Anthony Gardner's knee injury is improving and Andy Reid is available after being cup-tied for last week's FA Cup tie against Forest.
