Robbie Keane is expected to make his first friendly appearance of pre-season when we face Celta Vigo in France tonight.

Last season's top scorer has missed the opening games against Bordeaux and Nice with a slight neck injury sustained in training.

However, Martin Jol reports that the Irish skipper is ready to go against the Spanish side in the third and final friendly of our training camp in France. The match takes place in Annecy, kicking-off at 7pm local time (6pm UK).

Martin said: "Robbie will play, he's told me he's fine. Andy Reid has a foot injury, Anthony Gardner a problem with his shin and Paul Stalteri got a cut against Nice, that wasn't the biggest problem - he twisted his ankle a little on Sunday, so he will be rested for a week.

"For the rest, I think everyone is fine.

"We've worked hard out here, had two games so far and I think I will use as many players as possible against Celta Vigo.

"It's always tricky to have one game at the end of a training camp but if you use a lot of players, my experience is that it can be very useful. We'll try to get 45 minutes for most of the players and hopefully we'll get another good result."
