Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Michael Carrick is set to be named in the squad for Monday's Premiership clash at Portsmouth.

The midfielder has played two reserve games, had trained all week and is available after a month on the sidelines with a ankle injury.

Jacques Santini will confirm the travelling party after training on Sunday.

Michael's return is perfect timing with Jamie Redknapp missing the clash against his dad Harry's side through suspension.

Sean Davis is still on his way back from a knee problem but the good news continues with Fredi Kanoute fit again after a hamstring injury.

"Michael is likely come into the squad," said coach Chris Hughton. "What we're trying to build here is a big enough squad that there is competition for places and we've been fortunate up to now because the injury list hasn't been too extensive and we've seen that competition for places.

"Fredi's fine and has been training. We're not in bad shape really. These are always valuable times in the season when you have players available and competition for places.

"When you're having a good run the confidence builds. If I look at our away record over the past few seasons, which hasn't been that good, then there was always that little more fear going away from home. I would expect us at this present moment to go into the game far more confident."
